Help us build the next chapter of New York CITY ROCK climbing.

Brooklyn Uprising is more than a gym — it’s a creative space built by and for climbers. We’re a small, passionate team shaping something new for New York’s climbing community: a place to train hard, build community, and help people use rock climbing to learn how to grapple with setbacks, try harder than they ever thought they could, and accomplish things that previously seemed impossible. 

We’re looking for climbers who see routesetting, coaching, and community-building as creative acts. If you thrive in collaborative spaces, take pride in your craft, and wear a few different hats — you’ll fit right in.

We’re currently looking for:

  • Routesetters – Creative thinkers who understand movement, flow, and how to bring the mechanics of outdoor climbing indoors.

  • Apprentice Routesetters – Climbers eager to learn the craft, grow their technical skills, and contribute to the setting team.

  • Front Desk Staff – The face of our gym. Friendly, organized, and always psyched to welcome new climbers and regulars alike.

  • Coaches – Experienced climbers who can mentor, inspire, and guide our members to reach their goals.

  • Creators – Photographers, Videographers, Writers, Designers, to give a louder voice & deeper connection to the NYC climbing community.

We believe the strongest teams are built around people, not rigid job titles. If you bring unique skills, we want to hear about them.
